We are excited to share some wonderful news with you! Year 2 students at TTC Kirambo are participating in the English Proficiency Test, an initiative organized by the Rwanda Education Board (REB) in partnership with the University of Rwanda’s College of Education (UR-CE). We are thrilled to announce that the test is being conducted successfully and smoothly right here at TTC Kirambo.

The English Proficiency Test, consisting of three computer-based components, is a significant step towards enhancing the English language skills of our students. It provides an opportunity for them to assess their proficiency and identify areas for improvement. The fourth component of the test is being administered by experienced UR-CE lecturers, who are currently present at TTC Kirambo to ensure that the test is conducted efficiently and fairly.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to REB and UR-CE for their collaboration in organizing this English Proficiency Test. This initiative not only highlights the dedication of our education partners but also underscores their commitment to improving the English language proficiency of students at the primary and secondary levels across Rwanda.
By participating in such tests, our Year 2 students are not only refining their English language skills but are also getting prepared for the challenges of higher education and the job market. We believe that improving English proficiency is essential in today’s globalized world, where English is a crucial medium of communication, learning, and employment opportunities.

We are proud of the enthusiasm and dedication shown by our Year 2 students during the test. They have embraced this opportunity to showcase their language skills and are well on their way to becoming proficient English speakers.
In conclusion, we want to express our gratitude once again to REB and UR-CE for their significant contributions to the English Proficiency Test at TTC Kirambo. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this initiative on our students’ educational journeys.

Thank you, and congratulations to all the Year 2 students who are going to participate in the test. Keep up the good work and continue to strive for excellence in your English language proficiency!
Sincerely,
Gilbert Iragena
