We were honored to host a distinguished delegation from Zimbabwe today, accompanied by the advisor to the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education in Rwanda. Their visit to TTC Kirambo was marked by a spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose, as they engaged with Zimbabwean tutors to understand their experiences in Rwanda, particularly here at our institution.
Principal of TTC Kirambo Brother Emmanuel echoed his sentiments, commending the Zimbabwean teachers for their exemplary conduct since their arrival nearly two years ago. Their active involvement in all facets of school life, from fostering an English-speaking environment to participating in extracurricular activities and co-teaching with Rwandan counterparts, has significantly enriched our educational landscape. Noteworthy is their initiative to learn the local language and their unwavering support of student-teachers, contributing to a vibrant academic community.
It’s heartening to note the reciprocity of appreciation from the Zimbabwean tutors towards their Rwandan counterparts. They spoke warmly of the warm reception and support extended to them, acknowledging the efforts made in ensuring their welfare and integration into Rwandan culture. This mutual respect and collaboration underscore the strength of our educational community.
Currently, our team comprises a balanced mix of four females and four males, embodying diversity and inclusivity in our teaching staff. The harmonious synergy between Rwandan and Zimbabwean tutors sets a commendable example of international cooperation and cultural exchange.
The chief delegation from the Public National Services Commission in Zimbabwe conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the diligent efforts of Zimbabwean educators in Rwanda. They emphasized the pivotal role these educators play as ambassadors, representing Zimbabwe with distinction. Moreover, they extended gratitude to the Rwandan government for fostering such an enabling environment for international collaboration.
As we reflect on this special visit, we are reminded of the transformative power of education in transcending borders and fostering global understanding. TTC Kirambo remains committed to nurturing such partnerships and celebrating the rich tapestry of experiences that enrich our educational journey.
